PDRN skincare, explained

PDRN — polydeoxyribonucleotide — is a mix of DNA fragments. The PDRN in medical research comes from salmon. Vegan versions sourced from plants such as ginseng, or from probiotics, now sit beside it on Korean shelves — and they aren't the same material.

Much of the buzz comes from Korean clinics, where PDRN is injected. Skincare is a different thing: a serum or cream sits on the surface of the skin, so it's fair to judge one against other serums, not against an injection.

Below is everything we've published on it — start with the comparison if you're deciding what to buy.
